Technical Sales Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Specialist with a deep understanding of Insurtech solutions to join our dynamic team. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales initiatives, building relationships with clients, and promoting our innovative insurance technology products and services. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the industry, profound knowledge of the insurance sector, and fluency in both written and spoken Arabic and English.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand the company's market presence in the MENA Region, Canada, and the USA.
  • Identify and engage prospective clients within the insurance industry, including insurers, brokers, and agencies, to understand their technical needs and challenges.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and consultations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our Insurtech solutions, effectively communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and customer success, to tailor solutions to meet client requirements and address specific market demands.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers to foster long-term partnerships and drive revenue growth.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities and provide insights for product enhancement.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and contracts, negotiating terms and pricing to close deals in a timely manner while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Provide post-sales support and ongoing account management to ensure seamless implementation, adoption, and retention of our solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market developments using CRM tools for reporting and analysis purposes.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to promote brand awareness and establish thought leadership in the Insurtech domain.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or equivalent qualification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in technical sales, business development, or account management within the Insurtech or insurance industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance operations, products, regulations, and market dynamics in the MENA Region, Canada, and the USA.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to grasp complex technological concepts and articulate them effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with fluency in both written and spoken Arabic and English. Knowledge of additional languages is a bonus.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, driving revenue growth, and cultivating successful client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and adept at working independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales productivity tools for managing workflows, analyzing data, and generating reports.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required for client meetings, conferences, and business engagements.
